It includes four (4) pole pieces: one (1) full curved pole on the very top & three (3) straight poles joined together. All four pieces hold each other after joining together to create the frame to insert a flag sleeve in the pole. After sliding the flag in the pole sleeve, it can be inserted into the ground spike.
